My favorite kind of DIY is the no-sew kind. It's the sort of DIY that I can actually do (similar to my DIY bleach splattered denim project). I've been getting inspiration from these types of projects all over the internet, so I thought I'd share some that I will likely try this summer when I find the right vintage men's shirt on my thrifting adventures.
I love this one shoulder look with those amazing French cuffs. So simple, yet so classy. Also, take a look at her no-sew cut off mum jeans, too. Perfection.
I'm loving this halter top idea, too. I'd probably swap out the slides for my Spanish Shoes HK menorquinas, but otherwise I think it's perfect the way it is. I've still got to figure out exactly how to do it, but if I'm successful, I'll post a picture on my Instagram (@imanorbyah).
Then of course, there's fellow HK blogger Geneva from A Pair and A Spare, who's the queen of DIY. She wrote this post in which she shares four different ways to wear a white shirt. This one is so on trend with the off the shoulder look for summer. She could write a whole book on DIYs with men's shirts alone, it's amazing.
I just need summer to get here. Expect me to say this a lot in the next three weeks. #teacherlife
