Come sail away with me

One week of holiday is mere days away. I know, I know, I feel like we just got back from our Sri Lankan holiday and here we are facing another week off.  It's a perk, let me tell you.  These holidays are the best part of being a teacher in Hong Kong.

Truth be told, we're actually not heading anywhere. And, these pictures were taken well before our Christmas holiday (since I'm telling the truth). It had gotten a little cool in Hong Kong that week, and I decided it was a good time to revisit the neck scarf.

Trying out my @catoninamsterdam pose.

Remember when I wore it the first time? I was just trying a new trend, but this time it served a practical purpose and actually kept my neck warm.

Good thing, too.  As I recall, I think it was kind of a drizzly day. Not much sunshine to be had, so we had to find locations to shoot that had a bit of protection from the light showers.

Our Stanley Pier was perfect.

The whole nautical theme (including this post's title) was totally coincidental, I assure you. I'm not so organized to be able to plan all these different parts. I'm not that kind of fashion blogger, though I admire those who do take outfit pictures with the post already thought out. I really just post what comes into my mind at the time.

Yup -- you guys get the inner ramblings of my brain. Lucky you.

Outfit details: Vintage blazer from Etsy, thrifted midi skirt from Savers, vintage jewellery and scarf from Estate sale, Skyline Handbag from Louella Odie

Thanks again, Ann for these pictures. We're getting good at this!

I love this outfit! It's pretty much perfect. And the setting well--we couldn't have done better could we? Looking forward to our next shoot.
