Less is more, so we're told. I was having this discussion with some girlfriends recently. We were all noticing how lately, we've all veered towards uncluttered silhouettes, low key delicate jewellery and simpler color palettes.
I've been aware of my own shifting preferences towards a simpler look, too. I wrote about my love of oversized things of late.
Neutral colors (even though I'm a lots of color kind of girl) and simple prints (though I love a wild print). What's happening to me?
This minimalist vintage dress from a new favorite Etsy shop called Retro Rhapsody had me from the moment I saw it. It had all the characteristics of my latest sartorial cravings: loose fit, simple print, neutral color.

Still, when it came down to styling it, I decided to do it up. Vintage jewellery, a scarf, my Louella Odie bag. Me to a tee.
Oh, and the booties. I'm loving that it's cool enough for booties because they're practically my favorite thing to wear with a dress.
