It's going to be sweater weather all week, which is fine by me. I'm obsessed with my new (to me) grandpa-style sweater.
It's also going to be a while before we see the sun again, unfortunately, and I'm behind on posting outfit pictures. I think I have three other outfits yet to post.
I had to get creative with a location a week ago because of the drizzle, and my usual haunts were too wet and sprinkly. Luckily, my friend Scarlett's jewelry shop was shut, providing a lovely yellow backdrop (and awning) for these pictures.
The first time I wore this sweater, I was in Kobe. I didn't think I'd get to wear it again so soon, but it was perfect when we got back to Hong Kong. This sweater came from an awesome thrift shop called Me & Gee, which is the best rummaging, op shopping, thrifting kind of experience we have here in HK. You have to hunt and peck, but there are some real gems to be found here, especially if you have an eye for reconstructing items, too.
I went back this weekend with the hubby and picked up a few more gems which I will be wearing as soon as I can get them altered and fitted.
Outfit details: Me & Gee thrifted sweater, Uniqlo jeans, Sam Edelman oxfords, jewelry from Stanley Market
