Okay, not really. Getting back into the swing of work is hard at first, but I really do love teaching.
I love that being a teacher gives me summers to spend being a full time, hands on mum for my kiddos, but I know that my life is enriched by having a career, too. (Well, I'm always full time and hands on, but even more so in the summer).
And, I can think of no better one for me. Working with kids by teaching keeps me young, I'd like to think.
But, I was reminded last night (in the middle of the night and in the throws of jet lag), that being a working mother comes with a price, too.
I'm going to make it a goal this year to try and leave the stress of work at work so I can be a more patient mother for my children.
By the way, have I said how good it is to be back in Hong Kong? These pics are taken on the Stanley Waterfront (by the Murray House).
Outfit details: American Apparel chiffon skirt, thrifted chambray blouse, silk scarf from Stanley Market, necklace gifted by Scarlett.
