The end of the school year is close. The senior rock says 27 days, but admittedly those seniors have a bad case of senioritis and the rock hasn't been updated in several days.
It should be that things are winding down, getting ready to finish. But this time of year for me always seems the busiest. Farewells, projects, grades, exams and of course the end of year showcase for my dancers.
I basically have no weekends free from here till the end. It's all rehearsals, rehearsals, rehearsals. (On top of my normal weekend busyness).
I'm ready for summer. But, I'm not ready for the year to end. Not yet. I really do love this time of year, too. I like the relationships I've built with my students. The comfort of how I run my class. I begin to feel a bit sad to realize it's all coming to an end. Sigh.
Oh well. Enough rambling. Our weather has been insanely hot these few weeks. When it's not raining buckets, we've had gorgeous blue skies. This little dress was another Fancy Treehouse purchase. Have I said I love her store? And, I just found out last week that Coury is preggers! How cute it will be to watch her style evolve as she becomes a mother.
This pink dress caught my eye because of the color. And the pockets. I've said it before. Dresses and pockets are the best invention. Ever.
Outfit details: Fancy Treehouse dress, locket necklace from Brooklyn Charm, other jewelry from various local markets, Michael Kors watch, black sandals custom made at Vickie's.
