Here are some glimpses of my week in NYC. It seems like such a long time ago. I've already noticed big changes in my niece in the recent pictures being sent to me on my phone. Sigh.
My sister is doing well juggling two children, even if she doesn't think so. I remember it being such a hard adjustment going from one to two. It's more emotional.
Jared and his big boy enjoy lots of time together. It's so sweet to watch a dad with his son. It reminded me of the beginning of Buddy's special relationship with Joey.
Little Willa. Oh, she melts my heart with her sweet baby face.
And so does Milo with how much he loves his baby sister.
He just needs a bit of help to make sure he isn't too rough with his love.
We bumped around Brooklyn for an afternoon.
Look at the sunny weather! We enjoyed trying a new coffee shop just off Bedford.
I got lots of good sister time. Uninterrupted.
We had a civilized lunch date at Jeffrey's in the West Village.
And the spring blooms! I couldn't get enough of them. Magnolia trees were in full bloom (and they are my favorite), as were these pear blossoms.
We went for lots of walks with Milo, too.
I can't wait to get back in the summer.
