I saw this post on A Mischmash Life a week ago where she confessed to finding more and more of this hot pink appearing in her wardrobe. I left her a comment in which I admitted to being drawn to this shade of pink myself. In fact, I'd picked up a silk blouse in that very shade at a little shop that closed in Stanley Market. Good for color blocking, my friend had said when I bought it. I hadn't thought to pair it with green until I saw the post on Mikka's blog.
So I paired my pink blouse with my dark green skinny cargos.
Added a blazer and accessories, and there you go. Quite pleased, actually.
Didn't have much time for blog pics, though. I was busy helping with the school forensics tournament last weekend. I managed to get away just long enough on Saturday to watch my Ella perform Swan Lake near her school. The hubby was away in Shanghai for a basketball tournament, so I was glad the schedule worked out so I could get there.
Buddy helped me snap these on our way back to the tournament after her performance. I couldn't get any more because a crowd of people walked by as the show ended. It's a bit awkward posing when you have all those people watching.
Outfit details: silk blouse and scarf from Stanley Market, skinny cargos from Uniqlo, Dolce Vita boots, H&M blazer, necklace from Causeway Bay market
