It feels like forever since I did an outfit post. I got lots of compliments on these silk pants when I wore them last week, so I thought I'd have someone snap some pics to show you. My son took these pics, but he was more eager to get back to his legos. Even so, you get the idea.
|It's a good thing he didn't get a closer pic.|
It was so hot.
I found these pants in a little shop in Stanley Market, which was going out of business. Everything he had in the store was marked down to twenty HK dollars! (That's approximately $2.50 US dollars, people). He had amazing stuff - silk scarves, pants, blouses, skirts - all just piled in a few big heaps. I went back several times and found beautiful things each time. I felt like I was thrifting. Oh, the thrill!

The humidity did a number on it by the end of the day.
And, speaking of bargains, when I first saw these Matiko sandals on Kimberly of eat.sleep.wear, I fell in love. Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to find them on endless.com for half their original price! What you can't see well in the pictures is the navy blue hair bow I found when I was school shopping for hair clips for my girls.
I love it.
I love it.

I've got another outfit post planned soon. I finally wore my DIY sarong skirt yesterday.
Matiko sandals, Club Monaco t-shirt from Salvation Army Store, silk pants from Stanley Market,
necklace and bow also Stanley Market (do I need to branch out?)
