Mama bear business

Why do school buses have to be such scary places?  Something about them makes them breeding grounds for bullying.

Yesterday, my little Ella came home from school and said that she'd been pinched by the girl sitting next to her (not her good friend who she usually sits with).  This is the same girl we've had issues with before, the one who tells everyone of the little ones where to sit and who to sit with.

Ella on the big bus.

Right, time for some action.  Joey told Ella in no uncertain terms that she could sit wherever she likes on the bus, and if anyone tells her otherwise, exactly what to say.  I got on the bus this morning and pointed the girl right out to the bus mother (who knew about it anyway) and told her I didn't want her anywhere near my Ella.

We'll be dealing with the parents later.  Frankly, I don't care what other people think about my actions (I live near all my colleagues), I only care about what's best for my kids.

You know what they say about bullies ... the parents are bullies. Don't think they'd be any great loss. Hope you are feeling better. xo

Quite right. I just wonder what it is about school that makes kids want to be mean to each other...
