I'm back! Thanks lovely friends for your encouraging comments. I don't know why last week felt so chaotic and it just got away from me.
Oh, well I do. The two year old girl is getting the better of me in every way. And, work keeps me up till practically midnight every night, and I'm still not entirely caught up. And, feeling down, I started to look at my blog and feel uninspired by what I was doing with it, and think about how others might be uninspired, too. But, thanks to your sweet comments and some great advice from my dear friend Shan (check out her new blog here), I'm here. And, I really do love blogging. It's my me time.

I received this new (to me) blouse in the mail from Fancy Treehouse, via my sister in NYC. (I have a link to Coury's blog in my side bar). She has such a good eye for vintage finds and sells them in her own online store, reasonably priced. Do check her out, you'll likely find several things you like.
And, so just like that, rather than over thinking what I'd wear, I just threw this look together in the morning and by the time I got to school, I was feeling quite happy with it. That's sort of how it goes for me, when I decide to do an outfit post. I had my friend Jessica snap a quick pic for me.
Then, when I got home, my little boy assisted me with the others. He loves to help with my blog photography. He even got out a little lawn chair and called it his director's chair.
And, he's starting to give me real feedback in our sessions, like Mummy, why don't you look up? Or, how about moving over here? In fact, he was the one who suggested the roof top. We hadn't been up there for pictures in a while.

|This one was Buddy's suggestion. He even got me to look into the camera!|
Outfit details: blouse - Fancy Treehouse, shoes - UO, bracelets - Stanley market,
gold leaf necklace - Brooklyn Flea Market
And, before I forget, the weather is FINALLY cooling off here. Though I expect a heat wave before it stays cool, I'm excited about pulling out some scarves and cardigans!
