We've been home for almost a week now. We had a lovely last week in NYC (I can't begin to describe how much little Milo had grown) and returned home on the night before I had to return to work. Brutal.
I think we're finally getting a handle on jetlag and I may even be ready for the new school year to start. Joey is busy with the Dragon's Baseball Camp, which Buddy is also taking part in. What a cool experience for them both. Kids around Hong Kong and our own baseball coaches have the opportunity to spend four days with four ex-major league baseball players. I wish I could have captured the look of excitement on Buddy's face when I pointed out that one of them used to play for the St. Louis Cardinals and actually was a part of the 2006 World Series team. It was priceless.
It feels great to be home. The weather has been so clear. It's remarkable. We miss everyone and think about you all lots and lots. I enjoy watching how bits of our trip to visit friends and family and being a part of their lives are creeping into our lives here. Most notably now is Cally's huge jump into the speaking world. It seems that she says new things almost daily. What she says most frequently...'me! me! me!' with her hand raised just like this cute little one, sweet Rubey the Cubey.
So anyhow, just in case you were wondering, we're fine. Things will be up and going very soon. I've got lots of pictures to share of our time in the US.
