In the days I waited to bring Cally home, I went through Ella's baby clothes again - this time pulling out all the girly things I knew we'd use again. I found many pink things - who knew you could have pink flowers, stripes and frills all on the same outfit? And then I found the little red velvet suit - a gift from our dear friends the Pearces in France - that Ella wore when she was small. I loved it when Ella wore it because it was a solid rich color that wasn't pink. Don't get me wrong - I love little girls in pink, but this red velvet suit was so sweet and unique.
So, here she is. One month old Cally in Ella's hand-me-down red velvet suit. Sitting in the very same place on our couch as Ella did when I took the same picture of her. I love that I get to do this all again.
And some live action of Cally. While she isn't very active yet, she does make cute baby sounds and you can see she's beginning to track sounds and focus more on what she sees.

LOVE seeing your video of Cally & hearing your voice! She looks very coordinated, alert & responsive for a one month old. You took such good care of her during her confinement in hospital and it looks like she's right on track. To be surrounded by her loving, attentive siblings, you & Joey + extended family & friends is "food" for her brain & muscles. Beautiful Cally is growing strong & the red suit IS rich & so snuggly too. much love, Diane
Put her under a Christmas tree & take her picture & she will be just like her daddy used to be. lol!
