Another day, another blazer

Last week, I came across Caitie's post from Lady a la Mode about her love affair with blazers.  Many of her thoughts resonated with me about my own obsession with blazers.  I mean, really, they are the perfect wardrobe staple because, as Caitie says, they instantly dress up a casual outfit.

I love them because they're so versatile.  You can wear them with pants and skirts and they're the best way to change up a vintage dress.

They're timeless.  While other pieces may change as fashion trends change, the blazer, it seems, has remained fairly constant.  Really, the only change with trend has been in preference for one button, two or three.  Or in length.

So, I guess you could say the blazer is really the quintessential vintage piece.

My navy Pendleton blazer is a vintage gem from the 70s and I'm so glad it gets as much use now as it did when it was first made.

yay . Love blazers

actually found an old pendleton one at the thrift store today - not as cool as yours, though.

You're killin' it, lady. Killin' it.

Blazers are the best.
