White out

I am really getting used to summer dressing.  Just the simplicity of cut offs and a head scarf.  I can barely believe we've only got a few weeks left.

Yesterday, I tried the all white look, and I was really quite pleased with how it turned out.  I could highlight little pops of color, and even my new wrist tattoo!

The top from H&M is another sister hand-me-down and I really love how the off white contrasts the bright white of my vintage Etsy Bongo jean shorts.

The in-laws' neighbour's garden was just the place for these outfit pics with all the vibrant colors of the lilies and the phlox.  Lilies are my absolute favorite summer flower and I miss the ones we used to have in our garden.

Then, of course, there's my unexpected accessory, the finger splint which can be seen in some of these pics.  The stitches are healing nicely, though the first time I saw them to clean the wound and change the dressing, I nearly vomitted.  I had to sit down because I got all queasy and light-headed.

Just want to give one last shout out for my Five Stones Vintage Etsy Confessions giveaway.  If you haven't entered, you really must.  With the help of the lovely Eileen, I'm giving away a $20 gift voucher for her Etsy shop.  The giveaway ends in just TWO DAYS!  Her shop is one of my faves.  I'm even wearing a lovely vintage number from her shop to the wedding we're attending in a few days (outfit post to follow).

Oh, yes!  We're heading to Colorado tomorrow.  The girls are flower girls in the wedding of some of our friends from Hong Kong in Estes Park on Thursday.  I'll be totally off the radar, but I'll announce a giveaway winner on Friday, July 26th.
