Dressing up for Halloween is so much fun. I wore two costumes. During the day, I went to school dressed as the hubby. My students got a real kick out of it since many of them have actually been taught or coached by him.
Then later, I took the kids out dressed as Mary Poppins. The kids couldn't wait for Halloween. This year we had Alice in Wonderland, Princess Jasmine and the scary Scream killer.
And we tried trick or treating in a new neighborhood. It was insanity. A real expat community, so it was Halloween central. So many decorations up including a house with two huge inflatable figures - a bat and a cat.
Now, looking at these pics, you'd think I'd asked my kids to pose. They did all this hamming it up all on their own. And, by the way, look at little Cally in the first pic. I mean, really. Who does she get that sass from???
Okay, so this means I'm back from my blogosphere break. Do you know how hard it was to not read my favorite blogs? It was a long week. I thought I would take two weeks off. But, no. And, what did I learn on this break? I didn't actually have much more time. In fact, I wondered how I actually had time to do it all in a normal week.
I have a backlog of pictures, but I'm a little under the weather. Not sure when I'll post them.
