A cozy skirt for a drizzly day

It's officially cold outside and in true Hong Kong fashion, the cold has crept inside and it's actually colder in than out.

Luckily, it's not really too cold.  Just cool enough to throw on a jacket and some layers.

We've had rainy, misty days though.  Not much sunshine to warm the soul.  But just perfect for a velvet maxi skirt.  This one came from Tea and Tulips.

I'm not sure what I like better when I take outfit pics, choosing the outfit or choosing the location.  Yesterday, the kids and I explored the Stanley Sports Centre where Buddy does basketball.

I'm bracing myself for next week when my biggest baby turns 10.  Two digits.  Where did a whole decade go?  And, he has been talking to me about liking a girl.  Sweet boy.  I don't know that my heart is ready for this.

Outfit details:  Tea and Tulips skirt, head scarfy thing from American Apparel, Stanley Market jewelry (and Scarlett).
