Though I love bright colors and whimsical prints, I always come back to simple, straight forward neutral tones for a classic look.
I've had this vintage duster (purchased at Santoki Vintage on Etsy) since well before the summer, but I hadn't worn it because I wasn't sure how I'd style it.
I'd trolled through blogs all weekend and no inspiration came to me and then suddenly, in the shower last night, I thought of this combination. Isn't it funny how we decide what to wear?
It's a little too soon in this Hong Kong fall to be layering, but I managed not to get too sweaty.
And, any outfit that includes one my favorite black wedges makes me happy.
I know I'm going to love this piece when the humidity dies off and the cool breezes pick up.
Incidentally, if you're wondering why I'm so smiley in the first few pictures (a great departure from my usual blog poses), it's because my little girls were up on our roof playing around while the hubby snapped the pictures.
How can you not smile at these two?
