July 25th

On this day fourteen years ago, I took this man to be my husband.

In this small country church.

Surrounded by our immediate families and a few close friends.

For better or for worse.

In sickness and in health.

Now, three kids later...

I'm happier than I could have imagined all those years ago.

Yesterday, I dug out my wedding dress from my mother-in-law's closet, just for fun.

Our kiddos were giddy to see it, especially the girls.  They immediately went into flower girl mode, helping me to hold my dress.  They even took turns wearing my married.  But, my sweet little boy went all gooey and told me how beautiful I looked.  So I told him I never had a ring bearer and he could be mine.

I love my little wedding party.

Happy 14th! Kevin and I share the same day! We celebrated 15 this summer. We were in Hong Kong; the whole fam went for Thai down the road from the Harbor Plaza at North Point.

It was really nice to meet you today Norbyah.

It hasn't dated at all, it's still a lovely dress...!
