The yin and the yang.

We're all about balance in our house. The last two nights, Buddy has slept all the way through in his own room. Brilliant! But to make sure our sleep schedules aren't getting thrown out of whack, Ella has been in with us and restless.

The poor girl has been sick with an ear infection. She was up with a fever on Saturday night, flip-flopping around in bed. Then last night, we managed to have the whole bed to ourselves. Bliss! Just when we thought things might be getting better, Ella vomitted all over the breakfast table this morning. It was a funny scene actually. Buddy got a bit of vomit on his sock and was gagging at the sight of Ella, so Joey took care of him; Eva and I swooped in to clean Ella off and throw her in the tub.

So, it's yin and yang in our house.

that's hysterical! i mean...oh...poor ella. but...seriously? to see michael's face! with puke on his sock! man oh man. anyhoozle. j and i were just talking about the beauty of 3...or at least i was. he still can't stomach the thought of possibly having 1...forget actually having 1. anyhow....all i can say is....as much as i dislike odd numbers....it's great for the kiddos....someone will always see both sides to an argument. you know...the whole NASA/space shuttle thing....makes sense...no?

I'm reading your posts and am amazed at all that you guys juggle and I'm having trouble managing one infant! I guess you just learn to adapt and make it all work, huh?

well, i think you just do the best you can. i've certainly lowered my standards and tried to accept that not everything will be done to the level i want. it's certainly not easy...some days it's just a matter of survival. don't worry syl, it gets better.
